MOVING THROUGH EDUCATION. TRANSVERSALITY.
The future requires radical intersections between different disciplines, to generate value propositions that address challenges creatively.
Short films and video games are examples of the intersection of science, art, technology, engagement and critical thinking. Knowledge is passed on from the purely artisan to the technologically advanced.
By way of example we will view the short film: “A successful student” and the game “MIRLO: Above the Sun”
"A successful student” is a combination of art, technology and critical thinking, presenting a student’s opinion of the traditional education system, which prevents the natural development of creativity and the ability to create knowledge.
“Mirlo" is a video game that combines traditional art, digital art and artificial intelligence in the behaviour of the protagonist's enemies.
In the talk, we will analyse examples of the creative processes in both cases.
